RSVP's fundraising has seen very encouraging signs lately.

On March 15, 2008 a fundraising concert was held at High Hilton Church. Mr Andrew Tulloch and Gillian Jack, two very gifted musician and soprano singer, respectively, performed to an audience of about 150 people.

The monetary yield is £925 but the non monetary encouragements from the audience and the association with the above "local Heroes" was a tremendous boost to this very young charity.

Many thanks to every one who took part in making this concert a real success. Many thanks too to those who purshased handmade cards made by our Treasurer.

On April 8, 2008 RSVP was also very kindly invited to the Weekly Christian Prayer Meeting, an organization that unites Christian professionals working in the medical school and Royal Aberdeen Infirmary.

The monetary yield is £700 but the non monetary well meant and sincere encouragements were too high to bear a price tag.

Raising funds ahead of planned projects
In order not to run a risk of failing to provide services half way into an ongoing programme, RSVP raises fund a year ahead of planned projects.

So, do please consider inviting us at, or nominating RSVP for collections on, your birthday, wedding or other parties or meetings so that we can afford to expand our core services to other classes: from 40 children in 2007; 123 children in 2008 and 246 children in 2009?
