LUNCH MEAL PROGRAMME CARRIED OUT IN 2007

The project genesis: when the project started, we feared that financial capacities will not be enough as parents were not convinced that it would be possible to feed kids for a whole year. But we successfully ended the year.

For the caterer: They were much worried by the market price fluctuations and the inspection but everything went very well.

For direct beneficiaries: As it was their first time, everything was new and the year ended without any problem, everything was alright.

At the end of the year: A farewell party was organised and all children and the caterer participated. The inspection committee was also present and delighted with the project’s success. The party was moderated by the MIHABURA PS Headmaster.

What went wrong: We can say that nothing went wrong as the start of every project seems challenging.

Appreciation: We are very grateful that meals were available every day.

Positive impact: Children were not absent; it assisted parents and provided jobs to caterers.

Suggestion: Looking for a way kids can have their meals at the school.

Other suggestions: Study trip, classrooms, computers, getting children’s uniforms, supporting those who will pass the national test to get school fees.
